Albanian Souvenirs

Albania is a great place to visit. I’ve been there 3 times and I look forward to my next visit. I’ve been to a number of different cities but would love to see more. The Albanian cities which I have visited include:

Tirana
Durres
Berat
Vlora
Fier
Saranda

I’ve been to a few smaller towns as well. All are worth visiting.

Albania is interesting due to the Albanian people. They have a unique culture and are very warm and welcoming people. They love to speak English and even though I wanted to learn Albanian when I was there, it was impossible as everyone I met wanted to practice their English!

Albania is also worth visiting for the beautiful landscapes. It is a predominately mountainous country, and beautiful mountains they are, but it also has many wonderful sandy and pebble beaches along the coast. The climate varies from north to south, east to west, but much of the population experiences a Mediterranean or temperate climate.

One thing I noticed about Albania is that they don’t have a lot of souvenirs on offer. You can find some very poor quality t-shirts and caps as well as the infamous bunkers but not much else. It’s for that reason that I created Albanian Designs. A website dedicated to Albanian souvenirs.
